Impression
A beautiful building in light marble, on top of a dune at the coast of the North Sea. The hotel is known for its prestige and is, after the Amstelhotel in Amsterdam, one of the most popular hotels in The Netherlands. The parking lot gives a posh impression. This impression will stay with you through the entire hotel.

reception
The reception was fantastic, you will notice that this hotel is a private possession, everything has been taken care of until the last bit and you will see this in everything. The hotel can receive you by car, but you are also very welcome with your helicopter. This is unique for a Dutch hotel or even for a western European hotel.

public areas
The public areas are beautifully decorated and very chic with much dark coloured wood and beautiful ornamental light. The lobby has got a wonderful staircase that will bring you up until the third floor. The hotel has got two elevators on the outside, that will give you a nice view on the village, not at the coast unfortunately, during your trip to or from your room. The hotel has got a unique large terrace from which you will have a spectacular view at the coast. You will have this view from the two restaurants and from the indoor swimming pool too.

rooms
The rooms are exemplary and decorated warmly. This warmth will come back in the summer, because the rooms don’t have air conditioning. Everything else is beautiful too, although it might be a pity that you have got a view on the village. This can be nice of course, but you probably chose this hotel because of the seaside, which is always nicer. It is a must to make reservations early. The bathrooms are beautifully given finishing touches with light marble. Nothing is lacking in the rooms as well as in the bathrooms.

halls
The halls are amazing, because the hotel has got a choice of different very large halls that can be used for big parties as well as conferences. This is part of what the hotel is well known for.

situation
The situation is unique as said before. This is not because this is the only hotel that stands on the North Sea coast from Bretagne to Denmark, but also because it is right between Amsterdam and The Hague. This is very convenient for a traveller and it is a good thing when you are having appointments. You can easily use the bus and the hotel has got a shuttle service to and from Schiphol airport.
