Impression
At the opposite of this grey colossus there was an enormous building-site at the visiting time. The hotel may remind you of a communist building, that grey. The about 30 floors don’t make any difference; it might as well be the building of the European parliament.

reception
There are escalators inside, something that isn’t seen very often in a hotel. At the time of visiting we were told that the lobby would be renovated very soon. This can’t be argued with. It doesn’t look very up to date here. The place and finishing touch of some things are really bad. ‘Sheraton’ has got so many beautiful lobbies, why does this one look so different? The reception of the staff however is very friendly.

public areas
The corridors are all the same length and don’t smell very good. The cleaning here isn’t optimal, the walls have filthy stripes. The swimming pool with beauty salon however is very great. Through a small corridor and a stairs you finally reach a wonderful swimming pool with ditto view and even an outdoor terrace. This is a very relaxing spot.

rooms
Not a lot of rooms were shown to us, there are more. A few of these rooms were on the smoking floor and this was clear from the smell in this twenty-year-old structure. The suites are very old fashioned furnitured, not appropriate for this time anymore. The worst thing is that you pay a lot of money to have a view on the tower 20 metres away.

halls
The hall is very beautiful. The enormous chandeliers have just been renovated and the hall on a whole looks great. Big parties with bands can be given here. The area around the hall can moved into the hall, so an even bigger hall will arise.

situation
The hotel is situated at the end of a street where the ‘Metropole’ and ‘Le Plaza’ are situated also. The square at which the hotel lies will be renovated soon and will be looking better. This hotel is very suitable for businessmen who don’t have high demands.
